Ensuring Success with your CMMS Implementation |
A successful CMMS implementation involves more than just purchasing software. Defining your goals, developing a plan and timeline, gathering and importing data, configuring the CMMS to meet your organization's procedures, and training users are the additional steps that will ultimately lead to a successful implementation of the system and a higher return on your investment. We offer a broad range of implementation, customization, data management, integration and training services to help meet your business objectives and maximize your investment in CMMS technology. Our consulting services, provided by experienced system engineers, implementers, trainers and certified maintenance professionals are designed to help you make the most efficient use of your eMaint system and achieve a successful implementation. We will gladly work with you to develop a plan that incorporates the services that are right for your project and organization. |
Will you require any conversion of existing data or systems integration? |
eMaint has extensive experience in converting data from a variety of CMMS systems and other data sources, such as Excel spreadsheets. We regularly perform data conversions that are swiftly executed to minimize downtime with no loss of data. We also have a proven track record of successful integration of our CMMS with a variety of ERPs and financial applications. Our team can assist you through the data conversion and implementation planning process and provide insight into the many considerations that need to be made during the conversion, integration and implementation process. |

80% of all CMMS implementations have failed! |
"The statistics are startling - up to 80 percent of all computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) implementations have failed. When considering the costs associated with a CMMS project, an 80 percent failure rate is a tough number for any company to overcome." - ReliablePlant Blog (April 2009) "It's scary when you think that anywhere from 40 to 80 percent of these (CMMS) implementations wind up not meeting expectations." - CMMSCity.com |

eMaint has a 96% subscription renewal rate! |
"The real significance of the SaaS movement is that it fundamentally changes the vendor-customer relationship. SaaS shifts the responsibility of successfully deploying and maintaining software applications from the customer to the vendor. This moves the burden to the vendor to ensure the success of the application." "If a SaaS solution doesn't work, customers are not obligated to continue to use it because they haven't made a significant upfront capital investment that needs to be amortized. Instead, vendors are under more pressure to ensure their solutions satisfy their customers' requirements or they risk abandonment." "An indication of the success of this new vendor-customer relationship is the impressive customer satisfaction, renewal and referral levels in the SaaS market." What are CMMS and EAM Software? |
A CMMS software package maintains a computer database of information about an organization's maintenance operations, i.e. CMMS - computerized maintenance management system. This information is intended to help maintenance workers do their jobs more effectively (for example, determining which machines require maintenance and which storerooms contain the spare parts they need) and to help management make informed decisions (for example, calculating the cost of machine breakdown repair versus preventive maintenance for each machine, possibly leading to better allocation of resources). CMMS data may also be used to verify regulatory compliance. CMMS packages can produce status reports and documents giving details or summaries of maintenance activities and trends. A CMMS is a vital component of an Enterprise Asset Management system as it helps you optimize your maintenance resources and improve your return on assets. |
